I started playing the piano at the age of 10 with a classical approach - by learning how to read sheet music - and playing works by Mozart, Bach, Liszt and Chopin. Over time I became more and more interested in Jazz and music theory, and I am still improving.
My teaching emphasises enjoyment, self-empowerment, and solid technical/musical foundation. This includes fundamental skills such as scales, harmonic knowledge, and reading ability, which allows students to both understand what they are doing, and why it is important.
